This canvas became an arena of struggle. It resisted, dictated its own terms, tried to free itself from my will. Each stroke had a life of its own, but in this clash something more was born - an intense dialog between the artist and the material, with the idea, with the process itself. The painting was not created in the usual sense - it survived, insisted on its right to exist as it wanted to be.
Deep layers of oil, chaotically organized strokes, a sense of fluidity of form - all this creates the illusion of movement, internal conflict, the struggle between chaos and harmony. This work captures the moment of acceptance, of recognizing the power of art as an independent being that lives, breathes and sometimes escapes from the hands of the creator.
Together with the other two works in the series, this work explores the dialog between the inner and the outer, the fragility of the boundary between order and anarchy, the act of creation and the process of transformation.
