My artistic practice is centered on exploring the inner human condition — vulnerability, transformation, memory, psychological depth, and the hidden structures of identity. Through figurative painting, I work with the concept of the inner myth: a space where emotional experience, the unconscious, and visual imagery begin to exist as a unified system.
At the core of my approach lies the combination of technical precision and emotional intensity. I am interested not only in the realistic representation of form, but also in painting’s ability to convey psychological tension, inner conflict, presence, and the delicate threshold where beauty meets fragility. In my work, I place particular emphasis on light, texture, color contrasts, and the gaze as a carrier of emotional energy.
My artistic thinking has been shaped by academic training, contemporary figurative painting, philosophy, Jungian analytical psychology, and alchemical symbolism. In several series, I explore archetypal imagery and the alchemical stages of inner transformation — Nigredo, Albedo, Rubedo — viewing them as a visual language of psychological processes.
For me, painting is not the creation of a decorative object, but a form of profound dialogue between the artist and the viewer. I perceive art as a space of emotional recognition, where the viewer encounters not only the image itself, but also their own inner condition. This is why my works are built around presence and emotional connection rather than purely narrative or aesthetics.
My works are held in private collections in Moldova and abroad and have been presented in solo and group exhibitions, charity auctions, international art projects, and within Moldova Art Week. Through my artistic practice, I continue to explore human nature, striving to unite technical mastery, psychological depth, and emotional honesty within a single visual language.
