“Strength in Vulnerability” is a portrait that intertwines fragility and inner power. The naked face seems to shine through the texture of time, light and experience, bringing the viewer back to a primal sense of sincerity. The heroine's deep, almost confessional gaze is not a cry for help, but a mute manifesto of resilience: vulnerability hides a source of strength, as transparency hides an elusive depth.
The work was created in London in April 2025 at Soho House in the presence and under the artistic curatorship of the legendary Casey Baugh. This canvas was born in an intense atmosphere of creativity, among some of the most talented artists in the world, where every touch of the brush became an act not only of painting but also of revelation.
The background is like the fabric of memory - layered, rough, vague. It holds a face that, despite its delicacy, breaks through all the layers - like a symbol of personal light that does not fade even when caught in the vortex of the external. It is an exploration of the strength born of sensitivity; of the beauty that comes from honesty; and of the silence that can say more than a cry.
The painting is part of the author's artistic myth woven into the “Gallery of Souls” series, where painting becomes not an image but a guide to the hidden.
