Personal art exhibition "Synesthesia" 2023
The exhibition's concept explores synesthesia as a means of uniting senses through their interplay, examining the connection between internal and external sensations. Each work is a dialogue between color and emotion, the viewer and the artist.
The series "State Without Verbalization" reflects intense emotional bursts where a monochromatic base with realistic figures is interrupted by bright color accents, sparking unexpected associations and experiences. Spiritual motifs intertwined with nymphs and the sound of OM invite viewers to self-awareness, meditation, and reflection.
The art born within this series originated from improvisation, without preliminary sketches, remaining open to interpretations in the moment. The images on the canvases of non-existent people, fruits of the artist's imagination, mainly attempt to express a state rather than a portrait likeness of a specific person. These images interact with the viewer's spiritual force, inviting them to their own discoveries.
The performance presented at the exhibition was an act of bold self-expression where the artist, ignoring the space and guests, immersed herself in the creative process, demonstrating that art does not require external attention to be authentic. Guests, wearing headphones, became part of the piece, listening to the artist's voice guiding them through the exhibition, establishing an invisible connection and emphasizing personal interaction with each artwork.
"Synesthesia" is an arena for self-reflection, where art serves as a catalyst for deep personal experiences and introspection, leaving an unforgettable impression and a profound imprint on the psychological landscape of each visitor.
