The work captures an internal state in which a person encounters something that cannot be externalized — only lived through from within.
The circle defines a closed space where there is no exit and no distraction. All attention returns to the body and to what is happening inside it. The triple image of the head is not a sequence but simultaneity: different states of one consciousness existing at the same point.
The light emerging from the chest is not a metaphor. It acts as an inner reality that becomes too tangible to ignore. It does not soften — it intensifies presence.
The hands, crossed over the chest, can be read both as a gesture of protection and as an act of holding this inner fire — an attempt to preserve it and fully live through its intensity.
The work was created under the influence of the song “Light Within Me” by Yoga Alice. In its sound, a state is captured where light is not sought or achieved — it is recognized as already existing within.
The work does not offer resolution.
It holds the moment from which there is no retreat.
