A Charity Exhibition-Auction Uniting Creativity and Good Deeds
On January 25, 2025, at Queen Residence in Chișinău, an event took place that brought together art, charity, and the energy of people with shared values. “Gallery of Souls” was more than just an exhibition—it was a philosophical project where art became a powerful tool for supporting talents, providing social assistance, and awakening consciousness.
The Essence of the Project
The idea for “Gallery of Souls” was born out of the desire to connect two worlds—the world of art and the world of charity. This project became a bridge that united creative potential with real help for those in need.
The main concept of the exhibition-auction was to reflect the journey of the soul, its transformation, and its search for truth. Through artistic images, the audience experienced emotional and philosophical moments, engaging in reflections on inner growth, freedom of choice, and the meaning of life.
The Concept of the Charity Ball “Gallery of Souls”

“Gallery of Souls” became a charity ball that united art, music, and a social mission, creating a space for inspiration and support of social initiatives.
Evening Program:
- Opening: The evening began with an exhibition of over 60 paintings and graphic works by artist Aliona Barbei Tureac, reflecting themes of inner search and spiritual transformation.
- Immersive Performance “The Journey of the Soul”: The audience witnessed a philosophical theatrical performance where the author shared personal insights into the creative process and reflections on the soul’s journey, inner search, and art as a form of self-expression.
- Musical Performance: The atmosphere was enriched by opera singer Vitalie Maciunschi, a member of the renowned group Brio Sonores.
- Charity Auction: The highlight of the evening was an auction where 9 lots of Aliona Barbei Tureac’s paintings were sold. The auction raised €35,000, which was directed towards charitable causes.

“Gallery of Souls” was not just a cultural event but an opportunity to change someone’s life for the better.
Results:
At the auction, 9 lots of Aliona’s paintings were sold, raising €35,000.
The “Gallery of Souls” project raised over €35,000, which was allocated to charity:
✅ Covering a full year of painting education for 8 children from low-income families.
✅ Providing food and medical supplies for animal shelters.
✅ Creating opportunities for free art education in rural areas.
Behind the Scenes: Challenges and Inspiration
Organizing such a large-scale project turned out to be both inspiring and challenging. After the exhibition, it was necessary to dismantle over 60 artworks, dozens of easels, frames, and equipment, organize logistics, packing, shipping, and handle certificates, documents, and payments.
This intense pace came with stress, sleepless nights, a 5 kg weight loss, and even an allergic reaction due to stress. However, despite the exhaustion, I knew—it was all worth it.
Realizing that one idea can change someone’s life and inspire transformation is priceless.
What’s Next?
This was only the first step. “Gallery of Souls” will continue its mission, uniting art and charity, creating new opportunities for support and inspiration.
Achievements After the Exhibition:
- €9,660 was allocated to cover a full year of painting, drawing, and sculpture classes for 8 children at the Renaissance studio.
- 50 tickets were purchased for the play “The House of Bernarda Alba” to support the dance troupe. The tickets were distributed to teachers, children, and teenagers passionate about art.
- 15,000 MDL were allocated to help homeless cats and dogs.
- Support for an art school in the village of Bravicea, Călărași district: art materials were purchased, and a year of education was funded for 30 children.
